If the celebrity is available, click on the ‘Book now for [price]’. You’ll then be able to insert the message you would like.

You’ll have 250 characters to type your personalised message, and you’ll be asked if you want the video for yourself or someone else, what the occasion is, and if you have any special instructions for them.

Your card details will be put on hold and you’ll be charged once you receive the video.

If you haven’t received your message within seven days, Cameo won’t charge you and the request will be withdrawn. Some celebrities also offer 24-hour delivery.

You can also join a celebrity’s fan club. When you’re part of a fan club, you’ll get notifications for when the celebrity posts a video or message on the app.

It’s free to join a fan club, but there are options for a monthly subscription for some fan clubs, which will allow you access to exclusive videos from that person. 

You can also book celebrities for a 1:1 live video call through Cameo. These live video calls will allows you to ask your fave celebs any question that you require.

There are tons of celebrities, actors, athletes, TikTok stars, influences, models, athletes, YouTubers on TikTok varying from the uber-famous to those with a smaller following.

The prices on Cameo range from a couple of dollars, to thousands of dollars for video messages.

For lesser-known celebrities, you can buy a message for as little as $2, whereas the most expensive message on the platform is for $15,000, which is for Floyd Mayweather.

Is Cameo worth it?

Whether or not Cameo is worth it really depends on how much you or your friend or family would appreciate the message from that celebrity.

Getting a personalised video message from the available celebrities is really subjective – some people will see it as a massive waste of time, whilst others will think that it’s a small price to pay for a birthday message.
